Howard Head SafeFit® Employee Wellness Program

For Employees of Vail Health, Town of Vail, The Sonnenalp, Eagle County Government, and Town of Avon

The SafeFit® Employee Wellness program provides preventative wellness and early intervention evaluation, treatment, and education for management of musculoskeletal injuries. SafeFit® is designed to provide quick, no-cost, access to health care providers in order to improve employee health, reduce health care costs, and reduce lost work time.

SafeFit® Purpose

To provide screening, guidance, treatment, education and empowerment for employees regarding their musculoskeletal conditions or concerns.  SafeFit® provides quick, free access to health care professionals for your musculoskeletal concerns.

Appointments

SafeFit® sessions are 20 minute appointments with a Howard Head Therapist to discuss and provide treatment for your injuries.

Work Related Injuries

If you have been injured while working, you are instructed to notify your manager and / or the Health & Safety Team.  SafeFit can be used for mild work related injuries, but the program is optional, are not required.  Traditional Occupational Health treatment options should be utilized instead of SafeFit for more significant or emergent injuries.

Employees Only

SafeFit® is provided to the Employee only - We cannot provide services to Spouses, Children, Dependents, or any Family members.

Vail Resorts SafeFit Employee Wellness Program

PLEASE NOTE:  The website will only allow you to have one scheduled appointment at a time.  You may schedule subsequent visits after you have been seen for your SafeFit session.

Purpose: To provide evaluation, treatment and advice for musculoskeletal conditions in order to keep our employees Strong, Healthy, and Working.  We aim to provide quick and free access to health care professionals for the employees of Vail Resorts.  The following are some inclusion/exclusion criteria to participate in the wellness program:

Inclusion

  • Person is alert/oriented to person, place, time, events
  • Muscular Conditions
  • Back / Neck Pain (Overuse, strains)
  • Extremity evaluation (Wrist, Fingers, Toes)
  • Balance Problems
  • Joint Pain (knee, shoulder, ankle, hip, elbow)

Exclusion

  • Severe Medical Conditions
  • Lacerations/abrasions/stitches
  • Concussions / neurological condition
  • Severe Orthopedic injuries
  • Burns, rashes
  • Allergic reactions
  • Blood Borne Pathogen exposures
  • Chemical exposures
  • Facial trauma
